<p>Entertainment will be provided by Abby Normal.  We&#8217;ll have a Champagne Toast at midnight and our kitchen will be serving  up the following specials:</p>
<p>Shrimp Cocktail and Risotto Balls- 4 shrimp served with deep fried risotto balls and a roasted red pepper horseradish sauce for dipping. $ 12.00</p>
<p>Saffron Scallops- Pan seared scallops served with wild rice and a saffron crème fraiche. $ 26.00</p>
<p>Caprese Chicken- Seared airline chicken breasts topped with roasted tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil chiffonade and a balsamic reduction served with mashed potatoes and broccoli. $24.00</p>
<p>Porter Glazed Delmonico- 14 oz hand cut Delmonico served with mashed potatoes and asparagus topped with a Gutter Pup Porter Reduction. $ 28.00</p>
<p>Cognac Halibut- Seared halibut served over a sweet potato puree and topped with wilted spinach and a cognac cream sauce. $ 24.00</p>

<p>What you&#8217;ll learn:</p>
<p>- The proper environment, equipment and presentation of beers to be evaluated<br /> &#8211; Basic tasting technique<br /> &#8211; Flavor detection<br /> &#8211; Off-flavor detection including: diacetyl, isoamyl acetate, DMS, acetaldehyde, trans-2-nonel, infection</p>
<p>Who would benefit from attending:</p>
<p>- Anyone interested in refining their beer evaluation techniques<br /> &#8211; Candidates interested in taking Beer Judge Certification and/or Cicerone exams</p>
<p>You must be 21 years of age or older to attend.</p>
<p>Attendees will be served approximately six to eight 2 oz. servings of beer.  It&#8217;s highly encouraged that you have a meal at least 1 hour before the course, and abstain from drinking any beer prior to the course as this might affect your ability to properly assess flavors.</p>
<p>Class size is limited to 50.</p>
